Most families will be aware of the Prime Minister’s announcement over the weekend, that Australians will be given a public holiday on Thursday 22 September to mourn the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. I know that this has raised questions amongst students and families with regards to planned school events and Year 11 and 12 exams that are scheduled at PLC for that day.
Further to this morning’s Senior Leadership Team meeting, regarding the Queen’s holiday announcement, I would like to confirm the decisions that PLC will follow, on Thursday 22 September:
