Director of Teaching and Learning

Our role

PLC invites applications from outstanding individuals to provide strategic, educational, and operational leadership.  Leading the development of high-performing, collaborative, and student-centered delivery, the Director of Teaching and Learning will oversee our teaching and learning team and programs, ensuring sustainability, future focus, and continued success.

Reporting directly to the Principal and leading a critical team including our Heads of Department and Curriculum Services, this role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning experiences and outcomes for all students. This will be achieved through effective and contemporary program design and implementation, maximising strengths in teaching resources and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic and innovative leader and educator with a proven track record in developing and delivering strategic educational initiatives. You will have the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team, thrive on challenges, and be driven to continually improve.  We encourage applications from individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Drama Teacher

Part-time Fixed Term Contract to cover Long Service Leave

FTE – Minimum 0.5 FTE

Commencing 16th of September – 06 December 2024

PLC is inviting applications from suitably qualified Drama teachers to join the Drama Department on a part-time fixed-term basis for the final week of Term 3, and the entirety of Term 4. In addition to being a passionate educator, the successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who is skilled in teaching Drama at senior school level.  Experience in teaching at Year 11 and 12 level, while not essential, would be highly regarded, as would the ability to teach Dance.
