Academic Entrance Scholarships
Scholarship examinations for entry into Year 7 and Year 8 are conducted as part of the Australian Co-operative Entry Programme (ACEP) administered by the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER). Application form is available online by clicking on the link below:

Rural Bursary
Rural students who apply to sit the Scholarship Examination are considered for a rural bursary.
Music Scholarships and Bursaries
Music Scholarships and Instrumental/Vocal Bursaries are available to girls in Years 8-12. Music Scholarships and Bursaries are awarded based on musical excellence as well as the current needs within the Music Department. Girls wishing to apply for a Music Scholarship are required to register for the ACEP Academic Scholarship Entrance Examination. Indigenous Scholarships
The School Council of PLC invites applications from indigenous students resident in the Kimberley region. Two scholarships are offered to indigenous students entering Year 8. The scholarships offer full remission of tuition and boarding fees from Year 8 through to Year 12. Eligibility for Abstudy will be taken into consideration. Parents’ Committee Year 8 and Year 10 Scholarships
Each year the Parents’ Committee awards one scholarship to a student entering Year 9 and another to a student entering Year 11. Scholarship applications open from the beginning of Term 3 2009 and all students in Years 8 and 10 are invited to apply. The Scholarships, each of which is valued at one term’s fees, will be awarded for 2010.
The Scholarships aim to recognise students who:
- Have not previously been granted a bursary or scholarship.
- Actively participate in the School’s cultural, sporting and other programmes at Inter-School and Inter-House level.
- Demonstrate their acceptance of responsibility at PLC and in the community
- Demonstrate a commitment to learning and effort in their academic endeavours.
Applications close on 31 August 2009.

Old Collegians’ Association Awards
The PLC Old Collegians' Association offer scholarships to both daughters and granddaughters of 'old girls' as well as students who are not daughters/granddaughters of 'old girls', in various year groups:
- The Olive Cusack Award for a Year 9 student who is a boarder and the daughter or granddaughter of a financial member of the OCA. This Award is tenable for one Term's tuition fee in Year 10.
- The Vera Summers Award for a Year 10 student and the daughter or granddaughter of a financial member of the OCA. This Award is tenable for one Term's tuition fee in Year 11
- The Heather Barr Award for any Year 11 student. This Award is tenable for one Term's tuition fee in Year 12.
